The Cross
Let the cross be a constant reminder and symbol that:
(1) The debt
of your sins, have already been paid.
(2) You
owe no debt; they are all covered by the Blood
of the Lamb.
(3) God’s
Love for
you is ETERNAL and REAL.
(4) You belong to JESUS,
the Shepherd of your Soul.
Wear the cross
and show the world thatyou belong to
Jesus.
Don’t be ashamed to show the world.
TRUTH OVERCOMES
CONFUSION
Confusion and
fear is overcome by the
Truth that God
Loves you.
The cross is PROOF that God
Loves you.
The cross is your
protection from
everyspirit of confusion.
The cross protects
you from fear and guilt- it gives you Peace.
If your mind is
attacked by thoughts of your past sins, don’t panic or be
afraid; just think
of the cross that
you are wearing- Then say, "ALL
THOSE SINS ARE COVERED BY THE BLOOD".
If in the future, you
say something or do something, and you feel guilty, don’t
panic or be afraid; just think
of the crossthat you are wearing-
Then say, "THAT
TOO IS COVERED BY THE BLOOD".
All sin, past or
future- is covered
by the Blood of the Lamb; Meaning paid for andyou
owe nothing.
Now you have
peace, knowing
that you owe nothing.

Son cleanseth
us from all sin.

Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
Confession of
Sins
What is sin?
Everyone has
hidden things that they have done and thought.
This is
because we are afraid that God and our brothers will
disapprove of us and dislike us.
Little
children sometimes hide things they do, in order to stay out
of trouble. No one likes to get into trouble. But their
memory bothers them.
When we are
told "NOT" to do something, and we secretly do it anyway,
then we try to hide it from others, to stay out of trouble;
wanting them to continue to like and love us.
Spiritually
and mentally, the things we try to hide from God and our
brothers are still within us and continue to "trouble" us.
All the things
that we hide from others, are still with us. We try to hide
things, but they are not hidden from our own minds. Because
we retain the thoughts of them within us. We believe others
don't know how "bad"- we have done. We believe that others
don't know the "lies"- that we have told; and others don't
see the things we have hidden from them, and kept secret.
Have you ever
heard the old saying, "Everyone has skeletons in their
closet". This means: Everyone hides the bad things they have
done and thought.
We all want to
be admired and loved, and therefore we hide those things
that would cause others to look down on us, or be unhappy
with us.
We even try to
hide the things we have done from God.
We want to be
loved.
All the sins
that we have done, are like haunting memories, which
continue to haunt our minds and spirits, unless
they are dealt with.
Troubling
memories will make us miserable, as long as we try to hide
them. By hiding them and concealing them, we are being
deceptive. We are trying to deceive others, and God.
Even "bad"
thoughts trouble us, because when we try to conceal negative
thoughts from others, we cause more trouble within
ourselves.
As long as we
conceal the Truth from God, it makes us feel unclean. This
feeling of uncleanness is like haunting memories.
Spiritually
speaking, this concealing and hiding and being deceptive,
lets unseen spirits of fear, anxiety, worry, deception and
lying- to enter us, and make their abodes with us.
If you don't
want to think of spirits of fear and deception within you-
then just think of haunting memories. It is really the same
effect.
The bottom
line is that "they" must
be dealt with, and removed
from you. They meaning; "Spirits of fear and
deception, which you have let enter into you- by being
deceptive", or "Haunting memories of your deception";
however you want to look at it. Maybe even both.
These
troubling "things" must be removed from us- so that we can
have Peace. Yes, peace of mind and heart is what we all
need. We need to be free from fear. We need to rest and be
calm, and not continually worried or troubled by these
things, which are within us, and we have tried to hide from
others.
How do we
"deal" with secret things within us, which we have hidden
from others? How do we remove the "spirits of fear and
deception", which have entered us, or haunting memories that
trouble us?
How do we
become "free"? How do we become "clean"?
Why is
confession of sins necessary?
All the things
we have tried to hide from others and from God, will
continue to trouble us, until we are set free, or delivered
from these terrible things.
If "spirits of
fear and deception" and haunting memories are not removed
from us and "dealt" with- then we have no rest or peace. We
continue to feel "unclean". We continue to expect, "bad
things to happen to us".
Look at it
logically.
These terrible
things started troubling us when? When we started concealing
our thoughts and actions, and tried to hide what we have
thought or done. At the moment we tried to hide them, then
they started to trouble our minds and spirits.
Therefore, the
solution to the problem is this: Stop hiding things, and
start revealing them to God. Uncover
them,expose them,
and let God forgive you. Are you afraid that God will not
forgive you? Are you afraid to reveal something, afraid that
you have done "terrible" things that cannot be forgiven.
Talk to God
and tell God what you have done, and what you have
concealed. Tell God about all the things you have hidden.Tell
God everything!!!!
This is called
confession. When you tell God everything, then you are
confessing your sins. You are uncovering the things that you
have hidden.
The light of God's Love will heal
your mind and spirit. God's
love will remove all those "spirits of fear and deception",
and haunting memories from you.
How can you
tell God all these things, if you don't believe in God or in
God's love and forgiveness?
My friend you
have no choice. This is the fundamental thing that every man
must do. If you don't believe in God and God's love and
forgiveness, then you will continue to retain all the
"spirits of fear and deception", and haunting memories
within you. You will not be able to find peace. Your mind
will not rest.
My friend you
must come to believe in God's love and forgiveness. If you
blame God for anything, or think God is not good to you or
to others, then you have to change your mind. You have no
choice. There is no other way to be "saved" from your sins
(the things that trouble you).
You can try
many other things to find peace. You can: study books,
meditate, listen to music, travel to enchanting places,
attend church, and try many other things, but nothing you
try will be able to help you. Maybe you have already tried
everything else. Maybe you are tired of trying to free
yourself and maybe you have come to the end of the road.
Good, maybe
now you will do the thing you have needed to do all along.
Talk to God and tell Him everything and seek His
forgiveness. He will forgive you. Believe in God's Love and
goodness.
God's love and
goodness and forgiveness is revealed to us by Jesus. Yes,
Jesus was sent down to earth to reveal God's infinite love
and forgiveness. So that we would believe in God's Love and
talk to God and be free from the things that we have
concealed within us, and hidden and made us troubled.
Talk to God
and tell Him everything. Even if you are having trouble
breaking a bad habit, or you can't stop doing something that
you believe is wrong, tell this to God also. God will help
you to overcome everything that troubles you.
Be sincere and
honest and "come clean".
Look at these
wonderful Words of Love:
Leviticus 5:5 -
And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these
things, thathe shall confess that he hath sinned in
that thing:
Psalm 32:5 - I acknowledged
my sin unto Thee, and mine
iniquity have I not hid. I said, I
will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and Thou
forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah
Proverbs 28:13 -
He that covereth
his sins shall not prosper: but whosoconfesseth and
forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Daniel 9:9 - To
the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses,
though we have rebelled against Him.
Daniel 9:20-23 -
And whiles I was speaking and praying, and confessing
my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting
my supplication before the Lord my God for the Holy mountain
of my God; Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the
man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning,
being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of
the evening oblation. And he informed me, and talked with
me, and said, O Daniel, I am come forth to give thee skill
and understanding. At the beginning of thy supplications the
commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou
art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and
consider the vision.
Luke 17:3-4 - Take
heed to yourselves: if thy brother trespass against thee,
rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive
him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a
day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I
repent; thou
shalt forgive him.
Acts 13:38 - Be
it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through
this man (Jesus) is preached unto you the forgiveness
of sins: And by Him all that believe are justified from
all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law
of Moses.
Acts 26:18 - "To
open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light,
and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may
receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them
which are Sanctified by Faith that is in Me".
1 John 1:9 - If
we confess our sins, He
is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and
to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I John 2:12 -I
write unto you, little children, because your
sins are forgivenyou for His Name's sake.
It's so easy, my
brother, just confess everything to God. Talk to God and ask
for forgiveness.
Pray this prayer
sincerely:
Dear Father in Heaven,
forgive me of all my sins.
I believe in your Love.
Help me to do good.
Remove all things from
me that trouble me and cause me to do wrong.
I confess to you
everything and I am sorry for everything I have ever done
wrong. I'm sorry I have been deceptive.
I'm sorry I have
thought unclean thoughts and done unclean things.
I'm sorry that I have
gone astray.
I confess and ask for
complete forgiveness and ask you to restore to me a clean
mind and a clean heart.
I believe in Jesus. I
believe that Jesus died for me.
Protect me from all
things that would harm me.
Thank you Father in
Heaven. Amen |
